TASA OneTube Total Prep DNA DBS Kit combines sample collection, rapid DNA isolation, and storage into one device that enables microsampling and accellerated DNA extraction based on Dried Blood Spot (DBS) technology. TASA OneTube Total Prep DNA DBS Kit consists of two components:
- TASA Sample Collection and Preservation Device contains strips of special filter paper impregnated with specialized chemicals used to lyse cells, denature proteins, inactivate organisms, including pathogens. As cell lysis occurs, biological components and nucleic acids are trapped and preserved in the chemically treated filter strips.
- FastEx DNA Dried Blood Spot Kit enables rapid extraction and purification of high quality DNA from blood and plant tissue samples.
